About Dr. Ryan Brothers
Dr. Ryan Brothers was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He attended Oakland University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Prior to medical school, he worked in multiple level-1 trauma emergency rooms in Detroit conducting research on new technologies that would become the new standards of care for patients. Dr. Ryan earned his medical degree at Michigan State University and went on to his internship at Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital in Rochester, Michigan. He completed his dermatology residency at Aspen /OPTI-West Hospital Program in Utah, where he served as chief resident and trained extensively in general dermatologic surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery.
In his spare time, Dr. Ryan enjoys being outdoors camping, skiing, biking, competing in races, and anything else that involves crashing down a mountain. He and his brother, Dr. Ross, are also avid brewers. They love crafting every style of beer to share with their family, friends and the occasional lucky patient. Dr. Ryan married his wonderful wife on a cliff in Moab, Utah in 2020 and they have a beautiful son.
