Dr. Ross Brothers


Dr. Ross Brothers is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon who joined Northwest Dermatology Group in 2018. He was born and raised in the metro Detroit area. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in 2008. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2014 and completed his intern year in Grand Rapids. Dr. Brothers completed his dermatology training at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine/MetroHealth, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Brothers is a clinical professor at Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine and provides dermatology education to medical students at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Dr Brothers is on staff at William Beaumont Hospital, Providence Hospital, and the DMC. He specializes in clinical and surgical dermatology, with interests in Mohs surgery, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, skin cancer, and the cutaneous findings of systemic disease.

Outside the office, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with his incredible wife and their three boys. He can often be found trying to keep up with his boys and their uncle, Dr. Ryan, on the local mountain bike trails in the summer or on ski hills in the winter. While he may not be as good at skiing or mountain biking as his brother, he is a better homebrewer.
